Baird raised the firm's price target on Oshkosh to $158 from $140 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares following the Q1 report. The quarter showcased ongoing improvement in the company's overall execution, with Access and Vocational margins continuing to surprise positively, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm believes Oshkosh's Vocational and Defense units have "meaningful runway" to drive operating income growth, which should be able to offset any future Access cyclical softening.

Reports Q1 revenue $210M, consensus $169.7M. "We are off to a strong start in 2024, with outstanding commercial performance and achievement of all planned clinical and regulatory milestones for the first quarter," said Matthew Klein, M.D., Chief Executive Officer, PTC Therapeutics, Inc. "We remain on track to achieve the many planned 2024 clinical and regulatory milestones, including global regulatory submissions for sepiapterin."

BMO Capital lowered the firm's price target on IBM (IBM) to $190 from $210 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares. IBM's updated segment guidance was net weaker given the trade from Consulting growth to less durable Infrastructure growth, despite maintaining the total revenue growth guide, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The company also paid a premium in its HashiCorp (HCP) deal, though the acquisition "makes sense" strategically to improve IBM's Software portfolio and fits with Red Hat/infra focus, the firm added.

Raises FY24 revenue view to ~$10.7B from $10.4B, consensus $10.3B.

Barclays analyst Terry Ma lowered the firm's price target on Navient to $11 from $13 and keeps an Underweight rating on the shares. The company's Q1 results missed estimates and the earning guidance was lowered as net interest margin continues to face additional headwinds, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm thinks Navient's issues and the execution risk around the cost reduction plans will continue to weigh on the shares going forward.
