Zoetis announced that Glenn David, senior vice president of Finance Operations, has been named acting CFO, and will assume responsibility for the oversight of the company’s financial management and global operations, effective immediately. David will succeed Executive Vice President and CFO Richard Passov, who will be leaving the company at the end of April. Most recently, David has served as senior vice president of Finance Operations for Zoetis.

Credit Suisse analyst Erin Wilson initiated Zoetis with an Outperform rating and a $58 price target and named its a Top Pick in Animal Health. The analyst said Zoetis is highly leveraged to a rebound in industry fundamentals, and accelerating earnings growth from an improving cost and capital structure. Wilson is focused on underappreciated efficiency initiatives that should driver operating margin expansion over 900bps by 2017.
