In Ohio, a federal judge will consider a legal fight with ramifications for the diamond world, namely if the Zales jewelry chain should be allowed to advertise that its stones are the brightest, reports the Wall Street Journal. Sterling Jewelers, a unit of Signet Jewelers (SIG), which also owns the Kay Jewelers and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry chains, filed suit accusing Zale Corp. (ZLC) of false advertising for claiming its Celebration Fire stones are the "most brilliant diamonds in the world." Reference Link | |
