"Glencore's latest proposal now makes clear that the transaction represents a change of control, for which, as we have continued to stress, an appropriate premium needs to be paid," says Knight Vinke who rejected Glencore's latest proposal for Xstrata (XSRAY) and called on Xstrata's independent board to explore more offers for the miner, reports the Wall Street Journal.
