After meeting with Xyratex's management, Stifel Nicolaus expects the company's fundamentals to bottom during upcoming quarters. The firm disagrees with the view of activist shareholder Baker Street that Xyratex should stop investing in programs focused on future growth, but Stifel thinks Baker Street's activism increases Xyratex's valuation visibility.
