A team led by Exelis has been selected by the Department of Homeland Security as one of several prime contractors to provide critical information technology services to support the execution of its mission. Under the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions -- EAGLE II -- contract, the Exelis team will compete with other prime contract awardees for task orders on the IDIQ contracts in Functional Category 1, Service Delivery on the Unrestricted Track. Services under FC include system design, development, implementation, and integration; software design and development; as well as operations and maintenance.

10:00 EDTXLSExelis receives $8M order for night vision equipment from U.S. Army
Exelis has been awarded a contract valued at $8M to provide the U.S. Army with Generation 3 night vision equipment. The award is under the U.S. Army-managed OMNI VIII indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract awarded to Exelis in 2011. Delivery for this latest order is scheduled to take place during late 2014 and early 2015.
