June 17, 2013 08:17 EDT XLS Aireon signs data processing contract with ITT Exelis Aireon announced that it has signed a 17-year, $42M agreement with ITT Exelis (XLS) to provide the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast, or ADS-B, data processing and distribution component of the Aireon system. This contract further extends the ongoing relationship with Exelis, who also provides systems engineering services for Aireon. Aireon, a joint venture between Iridium Communications Inc.
