xG Technology (XGTI) has announced that it has been awarded a subcontract by CACI (CACI) to provide communications and network services on CACI's prime contract with the U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate. The five-year multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity prime contract has a ceiling value of $497M.

xG Technology has received an order from Airogistic, an Austin, TX-based OEM of UAV infrastructure solutions. The order covers the sale of xMax cognitive radio networking equipment that Airogistic will adapt for use in infrastructure destined for the commercial UAV market. As part of the agreement, xG will provide assistance to Airogistic in its ongoing research and development efforts in this market as it pertains to the integration of xG's technology.
