05:56 EDTDADY, GOOG, EIGI, WWWWWeb.com, Endurance sell-offs yesterday overdone, says Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo believes the sell-offs yesterday in shares of Web.com (WWWW) and Endurance (EIGI) were overdone. Wells does not see Google (GOOG) as a direct competitor to either company since the tech giant is only selling domains and not signaling intentions to sell higher value added services. Wells does not expect Google to enter the hosting space. It also sees the potential for Google's domain service to drive some additional traffic to Web.com and Endurance since it presents an alternative to market share leader GoDaddy (DADY). Wells keeps an Outperform rating on both Web.com and Endurance and views both valuations as attractive.
