The company provided third quarter earnings per share, or EPS, guidance of 40c, versus analysts' consensus estimate of 60c. Furthermore, Woodward reduced its fiscal 2012 EPS outlook to $1.90-$2.20 from its previous guidance of $2.20-$2.35. Analysts' consensus estimate was $2.25.
