Western Union has signed an agreement with Carrefour Argentina to offer Western Union global money transfer and bill payment services in Argentina. Western Union is the first financial services provider to work with Carrefour in Argentina. The Western Union money-transfer and bill payment service is now available at select Carrefour locations with rollout plans to be implemented across 120 strategic Carrefour locations.

Western Union (WU) announced it will offer Apple (AAPL)ís technology Apple Pay mobile payment solution at Western Unionís flagship locations, to provide consumers yet another way to fund global money transfers and bill payments in the United States. Consumers making Western Union transactions at kiosks in over 7,600 Walgreens and Duane Reade locations nationwide also have the ability to utilize the Apple Pay service.
