CL King says a recent investor presentation from Amgen (AMGN) reviewing evolocumab showed a drug administration device that looks identical to West Pharmaceutical's (WST) SmartDose. As such, the firm has a "very high level of confidence" that Amgen will be using West's SmartDose as one of the administration systems for its PCSK9 inhibitor evolocumab. CL King views the development as a "significant positive" for West and reiterates a Strong Buy rating on the stock with a $58 price target. Shares of West Pharmaceutical are up 3% to $45.56 in early trading.

17:50 EDTWSTWest Pharmaceutical increases quarterly dividend by 10% to 11c
West Pharmaceutical announced that the company's board has approved a Q4 dividend of 11c per share, a 10% increase over the 10c per share declared for each of the four preceding quarters. The Q4 dividend will be paid on November 5 to shareholders of record as of October 22.
