Longbow's monthly household appliance survey indicates April AHAM Core 6 wholesale shipments growth of +8-9% year-over-year vs previous forecasts of +3%. The firm expects Buy rated Whirlpool to raise FY13 earnings guidance given April results and low raw material cost inflation. As a result, the firm raised Whirlpool's Q2 EPS estimate to $2.56 from $2.36, vs consensus of $2.26, FY13 to $9.90 from $9.70, vs consensus of $9.68, and FY14 to $11.85 from $11.50, vs consensus of $11.33. | |
