In connection with the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Dan Mead, President and CEO of Verizon Wireless (VZ, VOD) yesterday gave an update on Verizon Wireless’s Q4 performance. Verizon expects 2.1 million retail postpaid net additions, total smartphone activations of 9.8 million with a higher mix of Apple (AAPL) smartphones, and stronger indirect channel performance in Q4. This will result in 4Q12 segment EBITDA service margin to be slightly lower than that of 4Q11, the company said in an 8-K filing. | |
