Vringo announced that it has entered into subscription agreements for the sale of 10.34M shares of its common stock in a registered direct offering at a price of $4.35 per share, for gross proceeds of approximately $45M. Vringo (VRNG) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Vringo Infrastructure, filed a patent infringement lawsuit against ZTE, an Australian subsidiary of ZTE Corp. (ZTCOY). The lawsuit filed in the Federal Court of Australia in the New South Wales registry, alleges infringement by ZTE Australia of Australian Standard Patents AU 2005/212,893 and AU 773,182. The proceeding has been assigned Case No. NSD1010/2013. The patents in suit relate to telecommunications infrastructure equipment and mobile devices. The ZTE products in suit include base station and server infrastructure used in mobile networks and also a number of 4G mobile devices. | |
