Vodafone has bought 140 stores left behind by UK mobile phone retailer Phones4u and expects to hire 900 former Phones4U employees, reports TheNextWeb. Vodafone (VOD) said that its choice to end its 15-year collaboration with Phones 4u was "incorrectly" dealt with and the company did not allot enough time to finalize a commercial resolution, according to The Wall Street Journal, citing comments from a Vodafone spokesman.
