Volkswagen is close to deciding on whether to make a new sport-utility vehicle for its mass-market brands Skoda and Seat at a plant in the Czech Republic or Spain, according to Reuters, citing comments from a Skoda union leader in Czech newspaper Mlada Fronta Dnes. Volkswagen finance head Hans Dieter Poetsch declined to comment on the possibility of selling the company's stake in LeasePlan, reports Reuters.
