Turkish Airlines to acquire V2500 engines for 25 new A321 aircraft Turkish Airlines has entered into an agreement under which IAE International Aero Engines AG's V2500 engines will power 25 new A321 aircraft. This brings the total number of V2500-powered A320 aircraft in their fleet to 110. The deal is valued at $560M. Aircraft deliveries will commence in 2015 and continue through 2017. IAE is a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders are comprised of Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International, Japanese Aero Engines Corporation and MTU Aero Engines.
