| theflyonthewall.com: | United Online sinks after certain e-commerce business practices questioned | | United Online (UNTD), which provides products and services over the Internet, is retreating after the company warned that its business may be harmed as a result of its customers' reaction to a Congressional report. In an SEC filing, United Online noted that some of its customers were mentioned in a Senate committee report that questioned the practices of some e-commerce companies. The company believes that it will lose some of its post-transaction marketing deals as a result of its customers' reactions to the report. In late morning trading, United Online slumped 89c, or 10.55%, to $7.51. :theflyonthewall.com |
