Unisys announced that it has been awarded a task order by the U.S. General Services Administration's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center to operate and manage the database and middleware systems for the agency's Federal Acquisition Service - the organization dedicated to procuring goods and services for agencies throughout the federal government. This cost-plus-award-fee task order for the Database and Middleware Support project, awarded under GSA's Alliant government-wide acquisition contract, is worth up to an estimated $28M over five years. It has a 2.5-month base period and four one-year options followed by one 9.5-month option period. All options are exercisable at the discretion of the government. | |
