Time Warner Cable announce that its customers in New York City and Los Angeles will be the first to benefit from its new program, currently dubbed “TWC Maxx,” that will have its own brand name at the time of launch later this year. TWC CEO Robert Marcus said, “We’ll triple Internet speeds for customers with our most popular tiers of service, add more community WiFi, dramatically improve the TV product and, perhaps most importantly, we’ll set a high bar in our industry for differentiated exceptional customer service."

Time Warner Cable announced the addition of NBCUniversal’s portfolio of broadcast and cable networks to its TV Everywhere offering across multiple platforms and devices. Time Warner Cable and Bright House subscribers will have authenticated access to live and on demand content from NBCUniversal’s cable networks including USA Network, Syfy, Telemundo, Bravo, Oxygen, CNBC, MSNBC, mun2, NBC Sports Network, and Golf Channel, as well as local NBC and Telemundo owned broadcast stations.
