Telecom Italia (TI) head Marco Patuano said that the company needs to review the potential to either purchase or combine with Oi (OIBR), according to Reuters, citing comments from Patuano. In October, sources said competitors led by Oi were ready to propose a bid for TIM Participacoes (TSU) in a complicated break-up agreement that would need to obtain approval from regulators.
