Lenovo is set to beat Samsung by about 1M units in 2014 and become the second largest mobile computing device brand vendor worldwide behind Apple (AAPL). SunEdison (SUNE) has executed power purchase agreements with 16 separate public housing authorities across Massachusetts, totaling 39.5MW in peak capacity. Over the next 20 years, SunEdison's solar systems will save these housing authorities an estimated $60M in avoided electricity costs, and will provide a collective environmental benefit equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by 1M tons, or taking 200K cars off the road. SunEdison and its financing partners, including TerraForm Power (TERP), a SunEdison company, will be the owner-operators of the systems.
