Texas County Court at Law Judge Jack Sinz ordered TransCanada Corp. (TRP) to temporarily stop work on a private property where it's building part of a pipeline to carry diluted bitumen from the oil sands in Alberta to the U.S. Gulf Coast, the AP reported yesterday. A landowner is defending himself in a legal battle against the Canadian firm, arguing that TransCanada lied to Texans when it said it would be using the Keystone XL pipeline to transport crude oil. A hearing is set for December 19. Reference Link
