Tutor Perini announced that its subsidiary, Perini Management Services, has been awarded a $130M task order by the U.S. Agency for International Development, or USAID, for the Irrigation and Watershed Management Program, or IWMP, in Afghanistan. This task order was awarded through the Company's USAID Energy and Water Indefinite Quantity Contract. The IWMP project is a five-year program to provide capacity-building services to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and involves providing technical and administrative expertise to the Afghan Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock. | |
