Target announced that it has reached an agreement with Fairweather, International Clothiers and Les Ailes De La Mode Incorporees regarding naming and branding rights in Canada. Under the agreement, Fairweather, International Clothiers and Les Ailes have agreed to cease use of the TARGET mark by Jan. 31, 2013. This agreement will eliminate any potential confusion among Canadian consumers regarding Target Corporation's branding elements, store experience and merchandise assortments as it opens its first stores in Canada in 2013.
