09:00 EDTTENTenneco to supply Scania with Euro VI diesel aftertreatment systems
Tenneco recently announced that it will supply Scania Group with advanced diesel aftertreatment systems for its European on-road heavy-duty trucks ahead of the 2013 deadline for Euro VI implementation. This is the second on-road business award from Scania. Tenneco is currently supplying Scania with Euro V aftertreatment systems for South America from its manufacturing facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Euro VI systems will be manufactured at Tenneco’s emission control manufacturing facility in Edenkoben, Germany.

Tenneco (TEN) announced that Ford (F) has chosen Tenneco’s damper technology for its new Ford Focus and Ford C-MAX, both of which are built on Ford’s C-Car global platform. According to Ford, these latest launches introduce a number of advanced new technologies focused on enhanced comfort, safety and ride quality. Tenneco’s Multi-Tuned Valve is a cost-effective twin tube valve system that provides a wide range of tuning options. MTV offers improved shock absorber performance and durability compared to conventional valves, and enables the optimum balance between body control and driver comfort.
