Spanish telecom company Telefonica (TEF) has offered to pay about $1B to raise its stake in Spanish pay TV provider Digital Plus to 56%, Telefonica stated last night, according to The New York Times. Telefonica already has a 22% stake in Digital Plus, the newspaper noted. Reference Link
