| theflyonthewall.com: | Tech Data sees improving IT demand in Q4 and FY10 | | CEO Robert Dutkowsky noted that IT spending is, "beginning to show an improved outlook for the first time in a year." Q4 sales are expected to increase in the low-to-mid single digits, with margins approaching 1%. Dutkowsky sees TV/flat panel displays performing well in Q4 and feels the healthcare vertical will be a key driver in tech spending in FY10. Forecasting a nascent recovery in tech spending, the company is well positioned to gain market share. Its strong balance sheet with net cash of $785M provides for any potential acquisitions. These comments made on Tech Data's Q3 earnings conference call. :theflyonthewall.com |
