TASER announced several significant orders for more than 409 TASER Smart Weapon Platforms and 955 TASER X26 Conducted Electrical Weapons, or CEWs, along with various related equipment. Smart TASER CEW orders include Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety order for 210 TASER X26P CEWs, Richmond County Sheriff's Office order for 136 TASER X2 CEWs, Tulsa Police Department order for 33 X2s, and Garfield County Sheriff's Office order for 30 X2s. TASER X26 CEW orders include United Kingdom orders for 100 X26s, 16,000 TASER cartridges and 6,000 XDPMs, U.S. Army order for 500 X26s, Philadelphia Police Department, PA order for 225 X26s, and unnamed U.S. federal law enforcement agency order for 130 X26s and 24,720 TASER cartridges. These orders are expected to ship in the first half of 2013.

Large orders received from domestic agencies include: 220 Axon Flex cameras from the Portsmouth; VA Police Department; 160 Axon Flex and Body cameras with five years of Evidence.com and TASER Assurance Plan, from Montgomery County, MD, Police Department; and 105 Axon Flex cameras with five years of Evidence.com on the Officer Safety Plan, from the Kauai Police Department, HI.

TASER announced its wholly owned subsidiary, TASER International BV, has acquired Tactical Safety Responses Limited, or TSR, -- its licensed distributor of Smart Weapons and body cameras in the UK. This investment helps expand TASER's ability to bring key public safety technologies to its partners across the UK by growing its in country sales and support team. TSR will provide unaltered service during the transition, maintaining existing staff and services, in order to ensure that TASER's current clientele enjoy both continuity and improved quality in its service.
