TransAlta (TAC) and Canadian Hydro Developers announced TransAlta's wholly-owned subsidiary has taken up approximately 9.1M additional common shares of Canadian Hydro Developers validly deposited and taken up pursuant to its offer to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Canadian Hydro Developers for $5.25 cash per share. These common shares combined with the common shares acquired on October 23, represent approximately 93.5% of the outstanding common shares of Canadian Hydro Developers.
