| theflyonthewall.com: | Synthesis Energy launches third party licensing business | | Synthesis Energy Systems has executed a revised license agreement with the Gas Technology Institute for its U-GAS technology rights. Under the revised agreement, SES maintains its exclusive world-wide rights to the U-GAS technology for all types of coals and coal/biomass mixtures with coal content exceeding 60%, and non-exclusive rights to biomass and coal/biomass blends exceeding 40% biomass. The revised agreement expands the rights and further defines the terms for SES to sub-license U-GAS to third parties for coal, coal and biomass mixtures, or 100% biomass projects. :theflyonthewall.com |

| theflyonthewall.com: | Synthesis Energy agrees to feasibility study with Ncondezi Coal Company | | Synthesis Energy Systems (SES) announced that its joint venture, SES Resource Solutions, Ltd., has entered into an agreement with Ncondezi Coal Company Limited for a study to determine the feasibility of mining and exporting up to 15N tons per year of low volatile coal, in addition to Ncondezi's export thermal grade coal resources, from the Ncondezi Project in Mozambique. Under terms of the agreement, low volatile coal from Mozambique will be analyzed for its gasification characteristics. The study will also assess the economics of shipping the coal to major Asian countries, and subsequent conversion to substitute natural gas by SES's U-GAS gasification technology. The study is expected to last approximately three months. Depending on the study results, the SRS joint venture and Ncondezi will negotiate the terms of a joint development agreement to facilitate commercialization of Ncondezi's low volatile coal resources. :theflyonthewall.com |
