The Court signed the previously announced stipulation and order between Constellation Brands (STZ, STZ.B), Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD), Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de C.V. (GPMCF), and the Department of Justice that resolves the Department of Justice's challenge to AB InBev's proposed acquisition of the remaining shares of Grupo Modelo that it does not already own. The parties had requested the Court's signature of the stipulation and order last Friday, April 19. Constellation expects to complete its transaction with AB InBev around the end of Constellation's 1Q14 or shortly thereafter.

The board of Barnes Group increased the company’s quarterly cash dividend 9% to 12c per share of common stock. The dividend will be payable December 10, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 26. On an annualized basis, the increase raises the annual dividend from 44c per share to 48c per share.

Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD), which has a history of growth via acquisition and has been speculated to be targeting peer SABMiller (SBMRY), has also studied whether a merger with PepsiCo (PEP) makes sense, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter. The report added that one source said no talks between Anheuser-Busch and Pepsi are ongoing, no deal is imminent, and the scenario is among many that has been examined. The report also noted that Albert Fried views Monster Beverage (MNST) and Keurig Green Mountain (GMCR) as other suitable targets for AB InBev. Reference Link
