J.K. Shin, president of Samsung’s (SSNLF) mobile business, has revealed that the South Korean manufacturer has begun aggressively hiring foreign software engineers in an effort keep pace with Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone, reports the wall Street Journal. Shin says there are small companies "that we can acquire that have good research and development capabilities," but denied that the company would look to acquire Research in Motion (RIMM).
