MasterCard (MA) and Samsung (SSNLF) announced they are extending their global partnership leveraging the MasterCard Digital Enablement Service to deliver Samsung Pay in Europe. Samsung Pay is a mobile payment service that will enable consumers to use their Samsung flagship mobile devices to make every day in-store purchases at contactless and magnetic stripe terminals leveraging NFC and MST technologies.

Now in production, 3D XPoint technology brings non-volatile memory speeds up to 1,000 times faster than NAND, according to Intel and Micron. 3D XPoint technology will sample later this year with select customers, and Intel and Micron are developing individual products based on the technology, the companies said.

Samsung Group's biosimilar drug development subsidiary, Samsung Bioepis, is expected to select advisers to list in the U.S. by the middle of August and plans to debut on the Nasdaq by the end of Q2, Reuters reports. A spokesperson for Bioepis says the exact timing or size of the listing has not yet been decided, but notes that if the company is valued at 8T won-10T won, or $6.87B-$8.59B, and lists 10%-20% of shares, an IPO could raise up to 2T won.
