10:44 EDTSPY, SPXS&P 500 approaching test of its 10-day moving average
The index is moving lower, last down 0.4% to 1936.02. At that price, the 10-day moving average is very close by at 1935.65. A substantial break of 5 points or more below the 10-day that does not trigger a rebound could begin a corrective process that has been long overdue by some pundits estimates. Next support below would be at the 1915 area, and then at the 30-day moving average, last at 1902.73. A bounce off the 10-day would be equally bullish as a break would be bearish, but would need to exceed 1940 quickly to be bullish on a technical basis.
