The index has broken down through another support level at 1877.11. This is now resistance. At the current price of 1872.47, next support is at 1868.20. Technology and Consumer Discretionary continue to be the heavy downside names. An earlier bounce attempt in tech names, notably social media and the "fab five" tech trading names, failed and selling accelerated thereafter.
