10:38 EDTSPY, SPXS&P 500 heads toward test of its life high, levels to watch
At the current level of 1847.01, there is only one resistance level on the chart and that is the life high at 1850.84. A breakout above that level could trigger more buying or selling depending on where the bulk of stops are set, making this an important technical juncture. Support is at 1840.76, the prior day close. Sectors are all in the green, though leadership is primarily in Energy and Materials. The Industrials and Utilities are next in terms of leadership, with remaining sectors so far more fractionally positive.
