Spirit's (SPR) backlog at the end of Q4 increased by over 7% from the previous quarter to $41B as orders exceeded deliveries. Spirit calculates its backlog based on contractual prices for products and volumes from the published firm order backlogs of Airbus (EADSY) and Boeing (BA), along with firm orders from other customers.
