Third Point added about 5M shares to its Sony stake, for a total of 70M shares, or 6.9% of the company. This morning in Tokyo, Loeb's fimr sent a letter from him to Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai reiterating their argument that Sony should sell a 15% to 20% stake in its entertainment arm, which comprises the company's movie and music businesses.
