News Breaks October 3, 2012 05:22 EDT SKT, SPG Tanger, Simon to celebrate grand opening of Tanger Outlets in Texas City The shopping center is a 50/50 joint venture between Tanger Factory Outlets Centers (SKT) and Simon Property Group (SPG). The 350,000 square foot upscale outlet center is located approximately 30 miles south of downtown Houston and 20 miles north of Galveston on highly-traveled Interstate 45 at Exit 17 at Holland Road. There is also the potential of a 50,000 square foot expansion from the first phase of the project which opens on October 19th.
