On March 28, Raging Capital delivered a letter to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sigma Designs expressing its concern with the pace of the Board’s efforts to reduce expenses and improve operational focus and execution. Raging Capital also emphasized the need for the Board to take decisive and expedient action to effect a turnaround of Sigma, including focusing on further cost rationalizations, making changes to the composition of the Board and management, returning capital to stockholders and exploring consolidation opportunities
