Standard Chartered (SCBFF) is nearing a $300M settlement with the U.S. over the bank's dealings with Iran that may have violated U.S. sanctions, according to a Wall Street Journal report citing people involved in the negotiations. Standard Chartered paid $340M in August to settle a suit with the NY Department of Financial Services over similar accusations. Reference Link
