Science Applications International, or SAIC, announced it has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Navy's Program Executive Office, or PEO, of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence, or C4I, to develop Department of Defense command and control, or C2, software, as well as modification and enhancement of existing C2 systems. The multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, has a three-year base period of performance, two one-year options and a ceiling value of more than $625M for SAIC.
