Riverbed CEO says no ‘credible’ offers received, Bloomberg reports Riverbed Technology Chairman and CEO Jerry Kennelly told Bloomberg in an interview that “If a serious party wants to call me with a credible offer, I’ll take the call. I haven’t had that.” Note that Elliott Management disclosed on Feb. 25 that it offered to acquire all of Riverbed's outstanding shares for $21 per share in cash and Elliott said that it was "keenly aware that other potential buyers have expressed their acquisition interest directly to Riverbed and its advisor, Goldman Sachs." S&P announces changes to the S&P 400, 600 indices S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following changes to the S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices: Dunkin' Brands Group (DNKN) will replace Riverbed Technology (RVBD) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Monday, April 27. A group led by Thoma Bravo is acquiring Riverbed Technology in a deal expected to be completed tomorrow. Walker & Dunlop (WD) will replace Entropic Communications (ENTR) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Thursday, April 30. MaxLinear (MXL) is acquiring Entropic Communications in a transaction expected to be completed on or about that date pending final approvals.
