| theflyonthewall.com: | Chinalco defends its Rio Tinto deal, FT reports | | The Financial Times reports that a Chinalco executive defended its Rio Tinto (RTP) deal and spoke out against the suggested changes to its planned $19.5B investment in Rio. Wang Wenfu, president of Chinalco Overseas Holdings, said in response to demands by Rio shareholders to be offered the same convertible bond deal as Chinalco, "This investment is a package.
