The shares are up 9.8% in the extended session to $12.30 following an earnings beat. At that price next resistance is at $12.50 and then at $12.79. Support is at $11.92.
16:09 EDTRMBSRambus acquires Smart Card Software for GBP64.7M
Rambus announced it has acquired Smart Card Software, which includes Bell Identification and Ecebs, through the purchase of all outstanding shares of Smart Card Software for GBP64.7M in cash. As part of the acquisition, the mobile payment platform developed by Bell ID along with the smart ticketing platform created by Ecebs will be incorporated into the Rambus Cryptography Research Division. Rambus expects the acquisition to be accretive to pro forma earnings within the first twelve months.
