Republic Airways announced that it has reached a tentative agreement on a new five-year contract with the Transportation Workers Union Local 540 Dispatchers. Local 540 represents the nearly 90 dispatchers of Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America. The proposed contract includes increases in pay and work rule improvements. Frontier Airlines, a subsidiary of Republic Airways, reported preliminary traffic results for May . For the month, Frontier’s total system load factor increased to 91% from 90% in May 2012, setting a new record for Frontier for the month. Frontier’s total system revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, decreased 16% to 900M RPMs on an 18% reduction in capacity.
