06:34 EDTRJET, ERJRepublic Airways signs component agreement with Embraer
Republic Airways (RJET) announced that it has reached an agreement with Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer (ERJ) on a Flight Hour Pool Program under which Embraer will provide component support for Republic's fleet of Embraer jet aircraft. More than 400 repairable part numbers, including systems such as hydraulic, electrical and engine components will be covered under the agreement with Republic. Under the program, Republic will sell certain parts to Embraer and will lease them back over the term of the agreement.

American Airlines (AAL) plans to retire 24 Embraer (ERJ) E140s by the end of this year. Says reduced international capacity plans for FY14. Says international capacity expected to be up 5%, which is down 1% from previous guidance. Sees FY14 international mainline capacity up 2.5%. Says sees regional capacity seen to be up 1% for the year. Sees mainline domestic capacity up 1% in FY14. Sees FY14 CASM up 2%-4% year over year. Sees 10.5%-12.5% pretax margin for FY14. Says FY15 CASM will grow less than inflation and be in the range of up 1% to down 1%.Says still feels "quite good" about global demand environment. Comments made during the company's Q2 earnings conference call.
