| 05:22 EDT |  | RIG | TTransocean announces resignation of General Counsel Transocean announced that on Oct. 23, Nick Deeming notified Transocean Ltd. of his resignation as SVP, General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary for personal reasons. Effective immediately, Deeming's responsibilities as General Counsel will be assumed by Michael F. Munro, VP, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, and David Schwab, Senior Associate General Counsel, Global Head of Dispute Resolution. Messrs. Munro and Schwab will report to Steven L. Newman, President and CEO. |

| 16:25 EDT |  | RIG | Transocean announces first quarterly dividend installment of 56c per share Transocean announced the schedule for the first installment of its U.S. dollar-denominated dividend of $2.24 per share, or approximately $807M in the aggregate, from additional paid-in capital. The first installment of 56c per share, or approximately $202M, is based upon the number of currently outstanding shares and represents the first of four quarterly installments totaling $2.24 per share, which was approved by shareholders at the company's Annual General Meeting held on May 17. The dividend will be paid on June 19 to shareholders of record on May 31. The ex-dividend date is May 29. |
